All About Me

If you were to look at my IG feed, you would see a little bit of everything.

I grew up in small town Oklahoma...small as in 60 people were in my graduating class....small as in no stoplights....small as in everyone actually knew everyone....small as in...well, hopefully you get the idea.

Four states later, I call Georgia home.  It's a funny story, really.  I visited Atlanta when I was in high school, and lets just say the small town me, did not like the large city that was Atlanta.  But, here I am, four states later, and I love it.

You know what else is awesome about Georgia??? Grits.  I never had grits until I moved here.

I live in a 1908 Queen Victorian Folk Cottage (or so they tell me) that is near the heart of the city.  I love being able to walk to so many different businesses, I love knowing my neighbors and I love that my neighbors let us use their shower when they were out of town and our main water line was busted.  Basically, it's small town America in the big city of Atlanta.

I share my home with my husband (who makes the occasional appearance on the blog as the editor), two little girls, and three big dogs, and a whole lot of unfinished projects.....

Yes, that's me.  The queen of starting projects or rather finding projects to start that end up just sitting there looking at me...and looking at the husband since he so often reminds me of these unfinished projects....but hey, it's what I do and he still loves me.

I love finding items other's have cast away and then bringing them back to life.  I call it treasure hanging, JD calls it hoarding.  TomatO tomAto, minor details.
